VIKING Life-Saving Equipment is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team.
As a Sales Assistant you are responsible for
sales support and different administrative tasks and marketing activities
customer service by phone and mail
follow up on orders and inform customers regarding new delivery dates
monitoring Wilma etc. news, and distributing information within the company
ensuring that quote and order entry into the SAP is completed in a timely manner
maintain CRM and update other job-related databases
coordinate and communicate effectively with various internal departments including Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Warehouse, HQ, etc.
ensure compliance to company policies and VIKING management system
In your role you will take care of the following:
create quotations, tenders within the daily business and follow up
creating and invoicing of sales orders
update CRM and SAP
participation in exhibitions and customer visits
other miscellaneous office tasks, such as purchasing office supplies
In this role you are expected to be a team player and have a positive, professional and helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers, both in and out of the office. You will be planning your work together with the Country Director and are also expected to work independently on the sales efforts. The working languages are Finnish and English. The number of travel days will vary, a few travel days per year must be expected.
